Been making my own skirts for years but I really like the way the strike kings flare better than the ones I make with the standard skirt band. cadman Posted January 11, 2017 Report Share Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) Welcome to TU. The cheapest place to buy skirts, is at fishing skirts.com. They have almost any color you can possibly want and dream up of. If you want your skirt to flare more, then don't use rubber collars, wire tie your skirts. If that is not enough flare, then put a small notch under your jig collar and wire tie there. Just make sure you don't over tighten the wire as it may cut your skirt strands.
