Tally
I have used the search and found some hook threads, but I would like to know what the determining factor of hook size is? Personally, I like big hooks. Would it be safe to say that the whole deal with hook size boils down to weight? (I am not talking about putting #2's on a wiggle wart). thanks Tally
boatnik13
I'd say its "proportional". To small of a hook and the fish will not hook-up but miss insted.(will act more like a fish guard) To big of a hook and it will offset the ballance. I think its easyer to sink a wood lure VS plastic when it comes to large hooks.
