Bamafan2277 Posted March 3, 2017 Report Share Posted March 3, 2017 I'm still new to the game also but I have been "hooked" I dropped a good chunk of my tax check on colors, molds etc. I now have enough colors to color 1000 gallons of plastic lol. I have made a few and getting ready to make a bunch more this weekend. I am mainly going to do Crappie baits but some bass baits too. I think I speak for many when I say we start out buying a few personal molds to save a few bucks. I mean let's be honest.......every time we fish, we spend a grip of cash. It's really nice to pour up a couple dozen of your favorite baits for a day on the water. But it doesn't stop there.......... You learn how to make a few decent baits, friends and neighbors start to notice, and you're giving stuff away. Then you're selling to friends and neighbors...........then to the public (be it website or stores,) then buying tons of molds, plastic goes from gallons to 5-gallons or 55 gallon drums, etc. Now you're addicted.
