Dual Injectors??

I saw a video on the dual injectors and was wondering how many folks use them and if they get a good quality 2 color bait pretty frequently out of them or do you prefer the laminate plates? Seems like the injector would make things go faster.

I have one and prefer it over the lam plates . Yes they do good lams. You just have to keep the colors as close to the same temp as possible

I prefer the duel it's way faster and you get good laminates throughout the whole bait.  The only downfall is you will also have laminated sprues.

I've been using the Bass Tackle dual injector for a while, and I've got a couple decent size (18-23 cavity) molds that laminate ok if I do everything right.  The first couple baits in the line laminate perfectly but by the last biat sometimes it gets a little blurry.  You can still clearly see they are laminated, and they still catch fish when that pattern is on. 

I also have a couple buddies who like to stop by and melted down my laminated sprues for off color baits. 

Everybody says same temperature, and that is a good guideline, but I sometimes have different color-flake-powder-salt-etc recipes at a little different temperature so they feel the same viscosity when I stir them.

Only used mine a couple times but the baits came out great !  A nice 50/50 bait .  I've never used a lam plate so I can't comment on that , but I can tell I'm gonna love it !

I use both. I made my plate so I get a half out of each side of the mold. I use the plate mainly to save plastic. Some molds though require the dual injector to do laminates. Like stated it is faster.
