CNC Molds N Stuff
You were obviously having to much fun. If you are going to run shallow water like that you might consider one of the super slick coatings for the bottom of your boat. Something like Frog Spit. It makes a difference in getting through. Also, a decent extendable duckfoot push pole can be handy. I was really glad to see you cap off with some cautions about log jumping straight on. Also watch for branches or knots. Great fun video. Willie Rip
Yeah, like I said in the YouTube comments, I'm plannign to build a new boat, something longer and narrower than this 1236, I figure a 1632 would be perfect, 1532 might get be adequate. These motors don't need much planing surface to get on step. For now I'm about to build a new powerhead from a go-kart racing engine. That should give me more power and torque for now until I save up to build the new hull.
fshng2
Willie you had me laughing. By the way I thought I saw you in one of these videos riding your Thai Longtail. It was hard to tell, you were going so fast. http://www.dragzine.com/news/long-tail-boats-thailands-outrageous-form-of-drag-boat-racing/ Edited May 4, 2017 by fshng2
