Looking For Air Brush?

Recommended Posts

I am going down the same road and have read till my head hurts.

I just today ordered a Badger 105 Patriot.

Can't say it's the best as I haven't gotten it yet but has come very highly recommended.

Next comes the paint, another can of worms.

I also just order a bunch of Createx Wicked colors.

Now lots of experimenting and You-tube video.

There are lots of viable options.  My workhorse is an Iwata Revolution BR with a .3 mm tip.  Sells for around $100 and has that Iwata quality.  You can get brushes with all kinds of “extra” features but you have to pay a premium and I find the BR gets everything I need done.

Paasche Talon is my choice.  It is a gravity feed which I like, it came with three different sizes of needles so I can do detail work to shooting some pretty gritty paints.  It is easy to use.  And I believe mine was about a hundred bucks when I got it.

PS, been shooting with it for years now.  Got it the first year it came out.
