I am a little confused on what to use for the best top/seal coating. There's so many different things out there.. So what works the best for blades and spoons? Dip it, hang it up, and you get a very durable, thin, clear topcoat that will not chip or compromise the action of a blade bait. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DaBehr Posted July 29, 2018 Report Share Posted July 29, 2018 I use CS Coatings Lure and Jig Coating. Easy to use, Durable. Some really like the UV coat. I use it on Walleye baits. BBK Posted July 30, 2018 Report Share Posted July 30, 2018 If for personal use, you can use anything that cures hard and protects the paint. Blades dont usually get banged up, at least mine dont... So I dont worry about kbs or epoxy on mine. I use hard as nails clear nail polish, or a basic aerosol spray clear.
