Walleye Blade's Top Coat

Recommended Posts

I use CS Coatings Lure and Jig Coating. Easy to use, Durable.

Some really like the UV coat. I use it on Walleye baits.

You can "dip and drip" or carefully brush it on, it doesn't take much.

Is KBS "better"...yes...but I find it a royal PITA. I prefer the KISS principle!

If for personal use, you can use anything that cures hard and protects the paint. Blades dont usually get banged up, at least mine dont... So I dont worry about kbs or epoxy on mine. I use hard as nails clear nail polish, or a basic aerosol spray clear. If you use the spray you cant store with plastisol lures, not sure why you would though.

If you are selling, absolutely kbs them.
