Pollocksack
Has anyone tried making slow pitch jigging lures? I have looked for information or ideas online but searches just result in endless commercial sites selling the jigs or "Japanese anglers secrets" blog which is the go to source for information about slow pitch jigging, I am amazed that there are no moulds for lead pouring these jigs, no diy action at all that I can find. I am thinking of making some out of casting resin with a through wire with added lead weights attached to the wire before pouring, or maybe even making out of wood and adding the weight to make the jig sink by drilling holes then epoxying the lead in. I have even thought of using cuttlefish bones as they seem the right shape but are too brittle. Any information or interest out there? Thanks in advance
aulrich
The do-it flutter jig probably comes closest with sizes up to 9oz, and a number of other jigging spoons the go up to 6oz.
