KingfisherWI 2
What can I use to soak my airbrush parts in with Createx 4008 Airbrush/Spray-Gun Cleaner? I used to use a glass cup, but it required too much restorer to cover the parts. TIA

mark poulson 2,315
Use a glass pickle jar, or salsa jar. The soaking material will stay in good shape for your next soaking. I have a pickle jar of Air Brush Restorer (thank you Ben) that's five years old and still going strong.
Tally 26
there you go.... any type of jar that has a good lid and seal will work. I know nothing about Air Brush Restorer, but years ago I tried everything. Blades and Baits (JT) turned me on to simple green and my issues were solved. Just an idea for you as I have no intention on telling anyone what to do. lol
eastman03 220
Simple green, I will have to look into that. I was just wondering the same question to myself. Also, I accidently soaked my air valve in restorer overnight and it loosened up the rubber gasket on the little air nozzle. I probably should not have done that, so just a warning I suppose, make sure you aren't soaking anything with a rubber gasket.
RPM 45
Tally, are you diluting the simple green or using it straight out of the bottle. I buy Simple green in gallon jugs and use it a lot around the shop. Thanks for the tip, I'm going to start using it on my air brushes.
Tally 26
right out of the gallon jug straight. do not let it sit in simple green for weeks at a time. Over night, brush and wipe clean. put back together and shoot a little thinner through it and your done. That tip came from Blades and Baits years ago. you will be very happy with the outcome. buzz me if you need help. Tally
whitaker201 47
I use a mason jar. The airbrush fits in it, I can seal it up and use the restorer multiple times.
