CNC Molds N Stuff
I have a buddy who did a passable job of knocking off a Hula Popper on his lathe. He even did a nice job of copying one of the original color patterns. I ask him if there was really nothing he could think of to make it better and really own it. LOL. One of the security parts companies I used to do business with back in the day made some molds and plastic injected a Hula Popper like bait and a small jerk bait that they would give away to customers as promotional items. As far as I know they were not in the tackle business at all. Just something they did for fun. Doc Nemo
I make a majority of my top-waters' on the lathe. A few nuances to it, but very fun and relatively easy once you get the hang of it. What types of questions do you have?
