Hello, I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a 3/0 hook that will fit in Do-It’s Midwest Finesse Jig mold? I personally use the 1/0 Owner 5313 hooks but a customer asked if a 3/0 would fit. Thought you all would know best, thanks in advance!

I know that a Owner #5318 3/0 will fit in all of the cavities of the the Do-It mold MFJ-6-A. I Use them for my customers. The only thing I tell my customers is by doing that, you will make the hook top heavy on the 1/16 oz cavity. If he doesn't care, then it doesn't matter.

If anyone is still around on this thread, in JBarlows table, what is the methodology used?

Example: Row: Eagle Claw 570. Colum: 1/16oz Cavity.

What does 4-2/0 mean? Does it mean only #4 and 2/0 or does it mean #4 thru 2/0 (#4, #3, #2, #1, 1/0, 2/0).

Thanks

It means that a size 4 all the way through a size 2/0 will fit in that cavity in the specific style of hook.  All sizes between and including the numbers.
