Past "Precious" Posts (make this sticky?)

6 posts in this topic

Can we have a Sticky which sort of list tutorial like posts? It's a treasure trove of knowledge in TU & I think I might've missed quite a few. It should be a great help for ones' search for answers instead of searching thru all the old posts. Call it a pre-tutorial list? :) Actually some of the post I feel should belong in the Tutorials.

I've trolled up a few here, to get the wheel rolling. There must be many many more.... Do you know where those great posts are????? Please post it here.

There's a few more gotta find..

LaPala, those are good preambles to tutorials. I am planning tuts for decaling, foiling, and Luminous powder. The glo powder images in the link you have up are one way of applying the powders. I'm looking into using a lighter, faster drying adhesive that is compatable with epoxy. When I have a few more steps simplified I'll put the tutorials up ;).

Tight lines,

Shawn

Maybe we can ask the authors of those posts if they'd be willing to convert them to formal tutorials. Just a thought. :)

 Shawn: Couldn't wait for more glow powder tips. Have a bottle just sitting on my worbench right now. Only thing I did was coat my rodtip with it (using flex-coat) :D sure helps my night fishing.

Islandbass: yeah, that's what I hope too.:)

Hello fellows,

I am in the middle of finishing my new workshop, so I have not so much time for writing here :(

If my post regarding Epoxy molds is worth anything, sure post it in Tutorials, but I think it needs to be edited, because my English is not so good

P.S. Here is the photo of my workshop ?Before? the renovation. Will post photo ?After?

Hey Vy,

I'll see what I can do about getting your tutorial in the KB.

Your shop looks like it's got alot of potential buddy :) I shoot water-based acrylics and keep a 5 gallon pail of water under my airbrush bench. It works for a portable sink and flush station.

Tight lines,

Shawn
