My Scale Was Messing Up This Morning and Now I need Advice

Recommended Posts

Hey TU Folks!

This morning I used my digital scale to mix some epoxy and then coated a lure I spent a good day carving on to get just right. I just got home from work and the epoxy is nowhere near as dry as it should be. I think my scale may have been acting funny and the ratio got messed up. What should I do? Should I mix more epoxy and put another coat on or just let this lure sit on the drier for a few days and see what happens?

Every epoxy I've used has been measured by volume, not weight, because the different components have different weights.

Check the label on your epoxy to see what ration, by volume, the manuf. recommends.
