Salt for senkos

i have recently gotten into making senkos. i have been turning my salt into a powder in the coffee grinder but when i inject the mold there are clumps of salt in the worms. what should i do?

My personal take on it is easy. I mix my salt with my plastic before I heat. Since doing this 7 years ago no more clumps. I’m sure someone will have a different answer but this works for me if I grind salt. Now I just buy worm salt way easier but I still mix the same way .

just more mixing before you fill the injector,,

 The salt will settle to the bottom of your pyrex so mix well , then fill injector ASAP .

Fine Grit glass bead media. 

Works much better than salt, doesn't clump or cloud the color of the plastic. It also adds durability to the bait. 

It can be a little rough on the injector however. Just throwing another option out there.

Yep! Works good but it’s hell on the injector. If you go that route I would highly recommend only using one injector for it. I have a 4 oz injector from bears is the one I use and it’s scared up pretty good

Can you reheat your plastic when using GBM?  I've heard it's not recommended.
