don't use a can opener for a lure dryer. I got my moter geared down and enough room for 10 baits .I stuck one in there to dry the weight and went to take a shower . When I checked it out after I found a stinking hot toasted moter . It turns out a can opener moter was not intended to run continuously. On to plan B whatever that is .

micromark.com sells several different slow motors. One even has a set of gears that you can stack in different configurations to make different speeds. I don't know how much load they can bear, though.

Maybe a vacuum sweeper or sewing machine motor and a set of setdown pullys could be used. If your town has "hoopy Christmas", you should be able to pick up several from the curb.
