BassNator 1 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Share Posted December 19, 2004 Skeeter is right. Now you can use a lathe to make a long skinny minnow bait. I personaly dont do that, so I cant give you any answers to that. I cut my lure out of balsa 3/4 inches thick with a scroll saw. I also cut the lip slot for the lure as well. I then take a wood file and file down the corners on a 45 degree angle all the way around. Then sand it down starting from a gritty paper to a finer paper.
