Well the old expression certainly holds true here, "a picutre is.."
Very easy to follow.

Nice as always! What gauge and type of wire are you using?

Vy does excellent work. If his baits work half as good as they look they are well worth the money. What he is doing is a full 3 point harness. It is the hardest to do. Very few bait makers still do this. The pictures and the tutorial are excellent. Good work Vy!!!!

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words
It is not so difficult - I make one harness in 2 minutes you just need a little bit practice
As for gauge - you mean those "nails"? There are brass rods, but I will have to make them from steel - they are starting to wear out...
Wire is stainless steel, that I buy in orthodontic store, I think it is used for making dentures

Great picture tutorial.
I saw a site that had a simular look, but showed how to add the harness to your bait.
Has anyone else seen this?
Like a dumb@#$ I didn't bookmark the site and have be unable to find it again.

This might bnot be what you saw, but it does depict the procedure. Look at Cliffs posts.

On this type of harness, can you have the belly weight on it and how would you do it?
