savacs Posted March 8, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 8, 2005 Considering that i'm a fly tyer too, i'm gonna built a smaller version of that one(not that i know how big that is ). When i'm gonna finish it i'll let you know how it does(after it gets a little bit warmer). Till i make my own version of that lure i'll try tying a small fly in front what i already have. I used to fish that way too with streamers, not on a fly equipement , but on a spinning one. With a shad or spoon underneath the streamers. I usually tyed 2 streamers above the weighted lure. I really had them going on those on one ocasion. Caught about 12 asp in about 4-5five hours, and about another 6 to 12 escaped, because i couldn't find a good knot for the "jumpers" i tyed the flyes on. Some of the bug-n-bass lures may sell for over $100.00 with their box. The one I have shown here sold for $243.00 on ebay.
