After lurking for a week or so, I had to surface and say greetings from So. Cal. I live under the shadow of Diamond Valley Lake (newest reservoir in California). Supposed to be some of the best bass fishin' in California, if the lake ever opens to the public!

I used to pour plastics, doing pretty well both selling and fishing my worms. Spent a lot of time fishing club and ABA tourneys too. Work changed that and it's taken until now to get some of that spare time back.

I'm getting back into making/painting lures, starting with crankbaits, topwaters and spinnerbaits. Then, if I have room in the garage, I may get back into plastics. I also am very curious about building my own fishing rods . . . but one step at a time ( or my wife will catch on!).

Can't wait to get started, I've learned a lot just browsing in the last week or so.
