finlander
I am building large lures, mainly for trolling, and am thinking that a jointed one might be the ticket after trying straight cranks. Any suggestions as to where to divide the lure, weighting tips, etc.?? Thanks.

jaime
i got a 4" rapala diver/floater than i'm doing and want to make it into a jointed lure - 2 piece. what would be the best place to make the cut (i.e., tail section, mid-section, etc)? also, will the location of the joint give the lure a different action? if so, how so? will a lure with a jointed tail section wobble more or less than a mid-section joint?
