How do they make Twin Tail skirted Grubs?

Recommended Posts

Yeah.. Wermie Ernie here. Long Story behind that name and it has nothing to do with plastics. When I was a kid I played in the dirt all the time. WELL, I ended up with pin worms in my system. Since my middle name was ernest, my Mom called me Wormy Ernie.... AND IT STUCK for a long time.

IT is all kinda a joke...but who knows. If I can make a little extra side $$$ to pay for my pouring... I'll take that, if not, I'll just have plenty of plastics for me and my friends. I JUST LOVE POURING and making baits that catch fish.

Have a good one, Y'all

WERMIE ERNIE..HAHAHAHAAAAA

There should be a post here somewhere , I believe it was on ika's try a search for ikas.

Basically you just need a solding iron preferably with a flat knife tip some skirts ( GYB sells these in bulk) and some grubs

put the soldering iron between teh skirt and grub and slide it out, they will fuse together.

My buddy did this for GYB as a summer job maybe years ago.

if you look at a skirted bait already made you will see they have been fused.

if you dont have a soldering iron a butter knife heated up on the stove works just as well.

Oh yeah trhe skirts you will buy from yamamoto are double skirted, take a razor blade and cut them in half if you feel the skirt is to thick, this way you will also end up with twice as many skirts too.
