I haven't poured anything with it yet to see if it changes color. Is this normal? I guess I was expecting a fine green powder. thanks! woodsac Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 Don't worry...it's normal They all look like pearl white until they hit the plastic. Even then, sometimes the color won't be visible until after you've started to heat the plastic and mix up the powder. Remember, a little bit goes a long ways! woodsac Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 It's better to add it before heating. Start with a smidgen or a dash Just a little bit. Less than the size of a pencil eraser. The latest question is: how much stabilizer per cup of Calhouns plastic. I have seen some varying opinions on this. woodsac Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 If you're using regular Calhoun's and not the tube formula, you shouldn't need any stabilizer.
