where to buy powertools?

Recommended Posts

A jigsaw (scrollsaw) works great and you can get a pretty nice one for alittle money. I used to use my scrollsaw all the time until one day I tried my 1" wide belt sander grinder to shape my crankbaits and then hand sand them. You can get a beltsander 1" x 30 " belt pretty reasonable at Sears, Home Depot, Menards, or any Hardware store. Always get like 60 grit belts because they always wear down and get smoother as you use them. If you get fine belts they will burn right away. Thanks and I hope this helps. Ken Schmitz

SeminoleFan has it right. Harbor Freight is the best place that I have found. They have alot of inexpensive bench size power tools. They have warranties with them and have held up fine for me. I bought a 7 speed drill press from them for $35.00. I have been using it for almost three years with absolutely no problems. Check their web site. They may have a store near you where you can see the items.
