I want to make some blades from stainless steel. I need it .010 thickness. Can anyone give me a source??

Check your local machine shop or metal fab shop. They sometimes will sell you scraps for cheap.

I have some, if you can't find it, but it will probably be cheaper to buy it locally....

I went to a local air conditioning/sheet metal shop and they gave me enough scraps of 22ga stainless to make about 100 blades. Since then blades have become available from Netcraft and Barlows and at 19.95 a hundred not worth my time to make them....they are a little thicker than the original Chatterbait blade but they work fine for me...they also have the pre-cut prism tape for the blades.

I will send you some of mine to try for free. All I need is a name and address. Not sure if you cutting a unique design or going for the same look as the original but mine may save you the hassle of cutting them yourself.
