How bad are the fumes for Testor & Model Master Paints? What do you thin it with?

Stay away from the oil based paints. They are just a pain. Enamel you can thin with lacquer thinner. Paints that need solvent based thinners always have strong fumes.

Skeeter do you use createx on the backs of your foil baits?

I don't foil baits. I never cared for the way that they look. I never used createx much either. I could not get the results that I was looking for from it. I got better results using regular latex house paint thinned with water. But createx should stick to the foil. Just baby it untill it is clearcoated.

after you foil, I clear coat then paint the back, belly, gills, dot,ect......then I clear coat again. your paint is now floating between clear coats and looks really nice..
