what kind of contraptions have you guys come up with to hold rattle traps on your drying wheels? crankbaits and Plaster of Paris r's i can figure out, but need some insight on traps. also would like to see any custom work you guys have done on some.

I have seen a few pics of some in the past...they can be built from wood, another project I want to do but haven't found the time.

for off centre line ties i strip a piece of electrical cable thread the copper through the line tie and twist it tight then put this in the clip on your drying wheel this should easily hold a trap style bait

If you use springs to hold your lures on the wheel, then you can use a piece of wire to make a "<" shape between the two bottom hook hangers. Attach that to one side of the wheel, and then the other single line tie to the other side of the wheel and you will be good to go.
