Line tie position

Terry,

Skeeter is probably the expert on this question, but my experience has been that, assuming lips of equal size, the closer the line tie is to the body the more wiggle a lure will have. Diving depth should remain the same. I am working on a deep diver right now and by moving the line tie only 1/8" closer to the body, it increased the wiggle significantly.

The closer the line tie is to the nose of the bait the deeper it will go with less action. The further out from the nose the more action but shallower. That's the formula I'm familer with.
