one other thing, do give these recipes the guys give you a try. They know better than I when it comes to colors. They have been doing soft plastics for a long time, and have formulated colors before some of these colors even became avail. I think you will have a lot of fun as I do trying this out.

In one cup of plastic I use 1/4 cup softener, 1/4 cup floured salt, 1 teaspoon Del's Black Grape, 20 drops of Del's Red and 20 drops of Del's Purple, then add 1 teaspoon of Green Flake from Ozark (it doesn't change color when hot). Good seller.

One teaspoon!!?? That seems like alot to me. I guess I will try Saint's version minus the purple and see how it goes. I tried adding some blue and black but never the red. Mike I have been using the board for a few years and I agree most recipes listed are very close but I found there was alot of skepticism surrounding junebug.

june bug is made with black grape and red, no other colors needed .

of cource every manufacturer has a different shade of junbug, ie berkley zoom etc.

one other thing if your looking for the junebug and want to use a different color flake other than green your color will be completely off.

as junebug came with green fleck.
