Nathan
You maybe able too cut out the remaining bill from the body with a bandsaw or a hack saw blade.Be VERY CAREFUL doing this, and make your cut as clean and straight as you can. After it is removed epoxy in a similiar diving bill..Nathan
Skeeter
If the bait is a wooden bait then Nathan is telling you right. What kind of bait is it? Skeeter
rofish
To remove the remaining of the lip, you can also use a dremel like type of rotary tool, perhaps in conjunction with the methods described above. But use the dremel only in case you have experience with it, and don't forget about safety glasses.
Vodkaman
Top advice Rofish. I bought a mini saw from a modelling shop. It is a tenon type hand saw and has a very thin blade, extremely useful tool, would be good for this job. Depending on the lure, watch out for the through wire. desert_gold_hound
well if its only for your use why not make a mold of it and then you would always have extra on hand.
