Help with tube mold....

Recommended Posts

If anyone out there pours tubes in a mold I need a little help. I use Del's tube mold and as long as I'm pouring soft plastic I'm ok for the most part. The problem I'm having is with the "tube" plastic.

Whenever I pour it and pull them out I have a section of the tube missing :(.

I tried heating up the mold and holding at an angle but still to no avail. :(

Any tips would be appreciated.

This year has got to be tube mold problem year. We been selling them for 3 years now and had 1-2 problems, in the last 3 months we have had 3 people have problems pouring.

The molds are the same and I am sure the plastic contistancy is the same.

are you guys running the alum rods or the ss rods? ( did you get your mold with alum rods or the stainless steel rods?) let me know I am wondering if that is the problem. Ive sent molds out using ss and alum, more recently ss.

I have one other thing that works but need to verify it before I post it.
