black and blue

Recommended Posts

What dyes/formulas are you guys using to get black and blue plastic? I am trying to make jig trailers and black and blue beaver baits but my black is really smoke and my blue is pretty translucent as well. Is there a good dye out there that makes good colors without using half the bottle?

Thanks,

Eric

I have found LC colorants to be very potent. I use 20 drops of LC Jet Black for one cup of plastic and its very dark. Other manufactures I would have to use 125 drops of black to get the same results  .

The only blue that I found and like is LC california blue and fluorescent blue, those two mixed make a very nice blue. Hope this helps....Jeff
