Does anyone know how to obtain a matte finish? I certainly don't, even tough i tryed to find a source that could enlighten me.
Do such resins exist? Meanning: instead of getting a clear glossy finish u obtain a clear matte finish.

as i remember from an earlier post on here top coat as normal then sand with a very fine paper under a running tap was one method but i think it looks no different from a normal finish under water

Krylon sells a flat finish spray paint that you spray over the existing paint.

I put some dnatured alchahol on a paper towel and gave the lure a quick rub, this took the sheen off. But under the water everything looks gloss.
But out of the water it gives it an older look if that is what you are after.
