LedHed Posted March 21, 2007 Report Share Posted March 21, 2007 I tried a thousand of the #8 black jig hooks and was not impressed with the quality control. outcast Posted March 22, 2007 Report Share Posted March 22, 2007 I bought 50 each of the 3/0,4/0,and5/0 extralong shank hooks (5/0 still on backorder). Several of them were 'twisted' and others looked like they got caught in the machine and were pinched. The 'good' hooks work fine, but I will stick with the brands that I know, and use the rest of them for experiments.
