Weed Guards?

Recommended Posts

After I paint The jig i take a drill bit a clean out the paint from the weed guard hole. Then I Use a small amount of super glue to glue the weed guard in place. The Problem is the super glue runs up on the weed guard making in stiff, and sometimes when you bend it back and forth the weedguard will come out. Im sure there is a better way to do it im just dont know what that is. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks __gabby.

Gabby, go to Home CHEAP O, or Lowe's and buy some 1/8 wooden dowels. Then cut them into one or two inch pieces, then heat and dip the jig, then dip into a water bath, pull the dowel out, and then bake to cure the paint. Or just have them in if you are brush painting. That way you don't ruin the mold pins. All so Devcon is the best way to go to glue in weed guards!
