"Jann's Crankbait Bodies"

Recommended Posts

 i recieved a yellow flyer attached to my order form it was about some crank bodies that i recieved.

 " THESE BAITS HAVE A DIVING BILL MADE FROM CIRCUIT BOARD MATERIAL. THE BILL IS PEGGED NOT GLUED AT THE TIME OF ASSEMBLY. THE BODY IS SOLID AROUND THE BILL TO PREVENT LEAKAGE. THE BILL MAY HAVE SIDE TO SIDE MOVEMENT IN THE BODY> WHEN THE BILL IS PRIMED, PAINTED AND TOPCOAT WILL SEAL THE LIP INTO PERMANENT POSITION"

 Do you guys think that the steps listed are enough to make the bill solid? What would you guys do in this case?

If you're talking about the flat sided plastic bait with circuit board lip, I bought one finished and the bill was crooked. Snapped right out with light finger force, which was good in this case, but not an example of durability. I'd put a dab of 5 min epoxy in the slot before assembling. Mine was not "pegged", whatever that means in this case.
