This site is a great service for all of us - my thanks go out to the staff.

I make crankbaits from a blend of balsa and mesquite woods. I find it to be a good combination. They feature a foil finish, or my favorite, laminated rattlesnake skin.

For the past few years I have been experimenting with composites, and also make crankbaits from a graphite fiber reinforced composite foam (viewable at my website link below).

I look forward to joining in with this community as we learn valuable information from each other.

p.s. Any Aggies out there?

Thank you. It is good to be in contact with people of similar interests. I have been browsing the archives and following up on the development of your balsa/cedar lures. I'd like to elaborate on the method I use - but, I suppose that I should take that subject to the Hard Baits board. See you there.
