Wasco Paints?

Recommended Posts

I use the water based paints all the time. The Smith paints (wildlife) are in my opinion the best of the three, but they are all good. Good natural tones since they are used for taxidermy. They are compatible with Createx as I use a combination all the time. Usually do not need thinning and spray very well. Try them.

I've heard great things about these paints, but with one caveat:They are finicky about some clearcoats, particularly those with a solvent catalyst like dicknite's topcoat. They accept the epoxies fine though, I've heard of no problems with 2-ton or E-tex. Could probably shoot a clear like Createx, or Parma over them and carry on with the dicknite's too after thoroughly heat-setting the clear of course.
