I bought 2k of 4/0 and 3/0 and noticed the hooks are black and the point bends down just a hair farther. It looks real good and might be an improvement. Elken Posted August 16, 2007 Report Share Posted August 16, 2007 Those are the Mustad hooks from China; I guess they moved their manufacturing facility over there this year. Spin Casting Posted August 16, 2007 Report Share Posted August 16, 2007 Gloomisman, The darker hooks that look more like black nickel are part of some changes that Mustad has made to there hooks, also if you've notice the point has changed on the Ultra Point lines.
