Lip material for cranks

If you are not going to have a line tie in the lip of your
crankbait, what difference does it make, what material
you use?? As long as it looks ok and doesn't flex to much.

I've found when it comes to plexi-glass,and Lexan there is a difference.Provided your only fishing warm water(65 and above) plexi will get you by ok.If you fish it in anything colder,it gets real brittle,and breaks off.The colder the water,the worse it gets.Just bumping a rock is all it takes.Lexan,you won't have that problem..Nathan
