Anyone got a recipe for zooms tomato?
  2. I have two 2 cavity beaver molds. These molds are very rare. They are hand pour molds but with a little caution an injector can be used. They make a 3.2 smallie beaver. It is a great bait. $400 to your door inside the lower 48 states. Reduced to $350.
  3. I have 2 Delmart Ringworm molds for sale. They are 3 cavity injection molds. They are used but in very good condition. They sell for $120 apiece brand new. I will ship for free within the lower 48. SOLD
  4. This is a complete pouring system. I just checked Bears sight and it sells for $285 brand new. $200 gets it to your door. You get pot, valve and stirrer. Sold
  5. I usually buy the light watermelon colorant from Delmart, but have noticed he no longer sell colorants. Does anyone know if anyone picked up his line of colorants or if anyone makes one that is similar. thanks, donnie

  10. What temperature should I set it on? I had it on 350.
  11. Ok I am still getting used to the presto pot. I am trying to make stick baits with salt. I added 2 qts of plastic, salt, colorant , glitter etc. I let it heat, then when it was ready I turned off the mixer. Inserted my injector and then shot several molds of 4 and 5 inch sticks. Problem is, some of the sticks came out with very little salt and others came out with too much salt. I never got a consistent stick. I am getting ready to give up on this method and go back to my old ways. I was hoping this would speed things up.
  12. Ok I got it set up and have started using it. I have a couple questions! 1) I use a lot of injection molds. I thought I could pour the plastic out of the pot into a Pyrex cup and then insert injector. But the plastic cools too quick. What do you guys that use injectors do? And 2) the spot seems to be much cooler than the pot and plastic plugs the spout. What do u do about that?
  13. Well I just bought it. I figure by the time I have to heat and reheat in the micro it will be much faster. Plus the ability to make larger batches than I currently do and it keeps it mixed I had to do it. I can't wait to try it. Thanks guys. Please keep the post's coming with any tips and suggestions.
  14. Ok Ive decided I'm gonna buy a Complete system from Bear. My question may seem like a stupid one, but do you guys heat the plastic first in the microwave then pour it in the pot or just pour it in the pot cold add colorants, glitter etc and let the Presto Pot heat it. I so, how long does it take to heat. I know I will vary by amount of plastic.
  15. I have a question for those that are using the duel injectors. I currently have the 2 oz. version from LC. Here are my problems. 1st, it is too small to do more than one 4" stick mold. I have to shoot out the excess and pull more plastic to finish a 2nd mold. 2nd It is hard to pull and hard to push with plastic in it. I put a little WD-40 on the O-rings and it has helped some. 3rd, the nozzle has a very small spout. With that all said, I actually like it for small orders, but need need to speed things up. It was a gift so I can't complain. I was considering getting another one and was wondering which one you guys prefer. I think, just from looking, the Basstackle 6 oz looks perfect. It comes with the blending block and looks like it would be great. Please let me know which ones you guys use and the pros and cons of each. Thanks so much.
