    Cure help

What are you clearing the baits with? The createx dries fast but, yes it will scratch if its just bare paint
  2. If you can afford to get another iwata....get one. Might as well spend your hard earned money for something of high quality:yay:
  3. I tried the sc9000 from target coatings on some plastic bodied lures. I could not get the finish to fully cure. I dipped each lure and made sure that it dried at least 3 hours between coatings.....then I let it cure for a full week. I could still dig my finger nail into the clear. The finish would come off the lure when fished with. What am I doing wrong?
  4. I use the fishing nets from walmart as well.....they do great
  5. Congrats on the Iwata......awesome brush...all I use
  6. I have been using duplicolor primer and duplicolor gloss white enamel from a rattle can. I have not had a single problem using it

    Citrus shad

No mixing involved. Just shot createx carribean blue over flourescent yellow till I got to the shad that I was looking for:wink:
  8. From what I have seen the auto air has more speciality colors

    Shellcracker pattern

This is a shellcracker pattern that I came up with. Still a work in progress.
  11. You can still get some moisture in the line even if you have a trap. I think that very well may be your problem.
  12. I use 30 minute epoxy. I apply it with a nylon artist brush. Squeeze an amount out about the size of a quarter onto some aluminum fool. It is important to mix it very well. I hit the epoxy for a few seconds with a hair dryer to make it spread easy. Then give the lure a generous coating....not too heavy. Turn the lure for 20 minutes.
  13. Guys I am trying to replicate a color on the back of a discontinued Bagley DB3. It is an olive green shade. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to which createx colors to mix to get that shade? The closest I have got is mixing flourescent green and opaque purple but, its still too dark.
