    Balsa bodies for sale

I have many Balsa bodies I am able to part with. Up for sale are 2 different styles...A popper and a small baitfish crankbait. Each weigh about 1/8 of an ounce and both are nicely tooled out of top balsa and fully sealed. These are ready for paint and hardware and some serious fishing time. Selling in lots of 10 for $12 TYD. You are welcome to mix and match between the two styles.

  7. Hey fellas: I bought out a tackle maker, and it included a huge ammount of vinyl paint from component systems. I do not use this stuff, so I would like to sell it. Shipping is a problem due to Hazmat status. However, it can be done. Cans have been used some ...white, clear are about 1/2 full. Here is what I have: -Component Systems Vinyl Paint Pint cans (Black, Gold, Pumpkin Brown, Blaze Orange, Flame Red, Yellow, Blue, White, Watermelon Green, Bright Green, Clear. -Component Systems Vinyl Paint Thinner 1 gallon +1 quart This is nearly $400 worth of gear....I'll take $100 or best offer plus shipping if needed. I am in CT. Thanks Brennan
  8. Does anyone sell worth in smaller quantities I would like to get 100, but not 1000 like worth co. sells them...
  9. Hey all: Gonna try my hand at making some spinnerbaits. Bought out a couple of kids that had a pretty nice kit for making some. However, they used snap barrel swivels for the main blade. I can't go that route. However, I have been reading on the roller vs. ball bearing debate. Anyone using roller swivels with success? Are the BB swivels hype for most fisherman? Your opinion is welcomed. Brennan
  10. Hey all: I am a newbie here, but having a bunch of fun with repainting cranks with the help on this site. I did a bunch of searching, but did not find any answers to this. Has anyone tried using epoxy resin for laying up fiberglass as a topcoat? I have 1/2 gallon left over from fixing my boat and would like to get some use out of it. I dipped and dripped a few baits and they seemed to do pretty well. The finish is a bit thick though(did dip 3 times...maybe that was it)...if I thin, will it still set up hard? West systems says thining reduces strength....however, I am not working on a hull, just a bass crank. Additionally, I was planning to try and pour a swimbait out of this resin with some glass bubbles in it. Anyone try that? If anyone has an opinion, let me know. Thanks Brennan
