1. The grass jig has been working real well as a swim jig, but I'm also starting to like the smaller Arkie styles. They run real true and deflect and come through the sparse grass pretty well.

Red Silicone Skirt Tabs

Looking for a few skirt tabs. Red with Black Flake or Red Tiger Trac. I need approx. 10 to 20 pcs. I can order online, but shipping is ridiculous for a small order. Dominic backwater4@verizon.net
3. I have about 50 tabs each of Flatline thicker rubber. Approx. 22 strands per tab, 5+" long with thicker and wider strands than regular size flat rubber. I have watermelon, brown and black. If interested, .25 per tab each or $35 for all, plus shipping (which should be minimal. I also have fine cut round rubber in dark green (watermelon), brown and black. These were 5' lengths, there is 4+' left in each. $2 each, plus shipping Dominic backwater4@verizon.net
4. My go to jig is a: 1/8 football, single coated cable guard, 2/0 Mustad BLN flat eye w/ 40 strand (custom brown orange silicone skirt) wire tied w/ stainless wire and a tiny craw trailer. Next: 1/4 football, fiber guard, 3/0 Mustad BLN flat eye, all black Like others said, thats what I prefer, not what I might use if conditions dictate something different.
5. Nice baits. It does get addicting.
6. Thanks for the replies. That helped a bunch. I just tied some with some thin copper, but didn't like them. Found a little thicker stainless wire and they came out real nice. Thanks for the help. I'll try to post some pics as I do more.
7. I joined a couple of weeks ago and lurked for a while. I've learned a lot of good info from the site and hope I can contribute some. My main tackle making is in the form of jigs and buzzabits, but I'm starting to branch out into spinerbaits and possibly some airbrushing. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking to wrap wire around my skirt collars to make the jigs hold up better. Is there a specific way of doing this? Thanks.
