I only use calhouns and I love it. To me it feels close to zooms plastic. Just have to make sure you shake the crap out of it because it does settle.

Frank is correct, i want to hear the secrets. It doesnt matter what blending block is produced if it is not hotter than the plastic it will cool in a very short time. The only way to produce mass quantity of baits without having to stop after every few molds is to buy that pressure machine. After all we are all using the simple microwave or presto pot and with those you manually make the laminates. Also, I dont expect kevin, bear, or del to have to replace a product for me because i tried it and i didnt like it. Now if I ordered the wrong item, sure i know for a fact they would replace it for me because i have done this before. We have to be careful not to abuse these great guys because they are the best. I have ordered some of kevins molds and did not care for the particular bait and i have sold them on here to get another one i like better. Just my opinion

Without a doubt all you need is the 3oz. The other is gonna be harder to work with because of its size. I have the 3oz and i can shoot at least 3 different molds without sucking more plastic up. Frank has some great videos on this. Just go to franksrooty 2 on utube and watch them. Remember you are actually shooting 6oz of plastic because you have two injectors.

It does take a while to get use too but, I now have a system going and can move quick. I need to make those grips that frank put on there. The reason i didnt give up on it is because it is the only two color injector on the market that will make a precise laminate.

Ghost i was having problems with pressure on the injector when i pushed them down. I talked to frank and he told me to loosen the knobs up on top of the injectors. It was like day and night when working with these. Just thought i would share that but you might have that already figured out.

I havent been doing this long but i can tell you that the aluminum molds are the best. They make a perfect bait almost every time and they dry quicker. Thats just me though. I wasted so much money making molds in the beginning and now i am replacing them with aluminum molds instead. Also the aluminum molds will last forever as long as you take care of them. If you buy one and are not satisfied, trust me you can put it on here for sale and it will be gone before you know it and at most you might lose $20.

I would go to bears. I get 5 gallons shipped to my door for about $130. For my swimbaits I use Calhouns medium. It is alot cheaper to get 5 gallons at a time than to order just one gallon. www.bearsbaits.com
