    SenkoSam Glitter

I have roughly 3.5 oz (.040" hex) of each of the following: -Black -Kelly Green -Grape -Royal Blue -Fire Red -Dark Gold -Silver Glitter is from SenkoSam's and asking $30 shipped.
  2. 6 oz. Basstackle injector in great shape. $55 shipped. Thanks for looking!
  3. Mark, that's a killer idea. Will try definitely try tonight.
  4. Mark, That's exactly what I was thinking. Uneven salt distribution could only improve action. And bait, I know for a fact I'm pouring it too hot for the salt to suspend correctly, it just seems to work a lot better in the mold than the lower temp. Now that I've thought about it, I might actually like the uneven distribution. Thanks for all the tips, guys.
  5. Hey, guys. Had a quick question for those of you who inject sticks. I'm using Bear's 6" stick mold and my salt is settling on one side of the stick. Anything I can do to even the distribution? I've tried tilting the bait up but it's not working so well. I'm using Kosher salt that isn't powder fine and if I can help it, I'd like to stick to larger crystals. The crystals aren't super big but there a bit bigger than powder (enough to see in the bait at least). -Blaine

    6 Trailer Molds

I have 6 trailer molds for sale. All are one-piece open pour. (4) 3 cavity swim trailer molds. (2) 8 cavity small chunk molds. $20 each with discounts on multiple molds or all of them. Thanks.
  7. I'm looking for top pour, two piece Del stick molds in 5.25 or 6.25. Would like a ten cavity but take nothing less than a 5. Thanks.
  8. Mike, You're right. I must have made an error and looked at Gel-A-Lure pricing on accident. It's roughly $40 cheaper than Do-it (after shipping and in 5 gallon quantities). I'm interested if they say the bubble problem is being handled though.
  9. Bass Boys, I never had huge problems, just looking to save some money. Slammingjack, I've heard things similar to your comment as well. After shipping, it looks like 5 gallons of Pourasol is only $19 cheaper than Caney Creek. Something to think about I guess.
  10. Hey, guys. I know some of you on here use Lureworks Plastisol and I was wondering how well it floated with no salt, how it performs, etc. I've always used Calhoun's but am going to go with the Pourasol Medium. What kind of stick bait recipes are you guys using with it? Basically just looking for a little info as far as salt and softener goes. Thanks in advance.
  11. I'm looking to buy a two-piece, hand pour stick bait mold. Looking for at least 5 cavities and will consider anything up to 10. At least 5.25" long. Would really like a Del-Mart. Thanks
  12. Bluetick, same here. I don't remember it being like that a few years ago. Drago, those swimbaits look SICK. That's amazing. If you ever found the time to write up a tutorial with pictures, I'm sure many would benefit.
  13. Thanks, guys. It's a shame that hand-pouring is being shoved out. Drago, you have any pictures of your molds/baits?
  14. Hey, guys. I got out of commercial production as well as pouring in general a few years ago and cleaned out my mold inventory. I'm looking to get back into it next year but as I've been browsing around, I have found very few molds that aren't injection. I really enjoyed pouring and never had much of an interest in an injector but am a bit frustrated in regards to the options I have in hand pour molds. Are these something that the major mold manufactures might have but don't list them on their website? Or has the industry changed a bit and is injection something I should reconsider? I really loved the artistic aspect of pouring and like I said, have never wanted to change. Thanks for any help.
  15. Hey, guys. I had some questions regarding the people on here with custom bait companies. I used to own a small company a few years back but took a haitus due to some things I had going on. I simply couldn't keep up by myself. However, I'm getting married next year and my fiance really wants to get it going again and work at it with me. I had been trying to create a plan but keep wondering about the same thing. Like a lot of you on here, the molds I used for my baits were purchased from Del-Mart and Basstackle and such. All of the molds I had were common ones and I didn't have anything specially designed. I was wondering if there's any problems in the fact that multiple companies are producing baits from the same molds. I mean, I understand that the exact shape of a lizard is quite irrelevant in terms of the bait's quality, but it seems odd that it's okay for so many companies to have the exact same worms. I'm not saying I expect my business to ever get huge or anything, but since I'm starting fresh, I wanted to make sure everything was done right, especially since I learned a lot from when I was pouring a few years ago--mostly in terms of what not to do. I wasn't sure if I should have all of my molds tweaked a bit to make them original or not. Obviously, this could get fairly expensive. And I also know that there's not a lot you can do to make certain baits (like a stick worm) original. Anybody have any input on this? Surely I'm not the only one who is curious about this. Thanks!
