I have to agree with this. The Neo airbrush made for Iwata works great and with the 40% of coupon it's under $40. You should really get a duel action airbrush and I prefer a gravity feed.

OK here is my first try at a Bluegill (Sunfish). I was happy with how it turned out but think I can improve on it as I go. It also has some green glitter in it.

Small vice grips or a good pair of hemostats will work good. I also use a little stand I got at Harbor Freight for a few bucks and it hold my big muskie lures pretty well. http://www.harborfreight.com/helping-hands-319.html I use the D2 and rotate the lure for about 5 to 10 minutes then is sets hard enough to hang it up. Eventually I'll make a turner so I can do more than 1 bait at a time.

I bought some fine glitter a Walmart and it works great. For a couple of bucks I bought a pack with 5 different colors.

I tried the exact same silver halo. It's not real tissue paper but more like a thin plastic. It did great on a flat surface using some white glue but has memory and I don't think it would work to well molding on round surfaces.

Well them stencil cutters look pretty sweet but I don't use that many stencils. Since I've been aware I've noticed there is a lot of clear plastic going in the trash I can use. An exacto knife might not be the fastest but it did work pretty good and didn't really take that long.

Them look like some tools to make it easier. I had thought about using my soldering iron which would be kind of the same thing. Maybe make a pointy tip for it? I did use the side of a milk carton for my crappie pattern and even though it was thicker than some other stuff I tried and it seemed to work pretty well. It also formed or bent a little bit when doing one side then going to the other.

I was just curious on what material you use or your stencils and how do you cut them. I tried using a Dremel with a cutting bit but it had to many burs so I just used an Exacto knife. A friend turned me onto this site a couple of months ago when I wanted to start painting some o my chewed up lures. Interesting design. I liked the tip about using the straw to keep the weights from getting glued together.
