  1. I use a bench grinder with a small circular saw blade on each side. The blades are angle grinder metal cutting TCT blades, a 4" blade gives a 1.5mm slot and a 5" blade a 2mm slot. adjustable height tables for each blade allow me to centre the radius of cut for the different thicknesses of timber.

    Barramundi

A nice Barramundi caught at Karumba Qld on one of my timber lures Cheers Wal
  3. A stencil Knife with a swivelling blade will make cutting curves easy. I've sourced them through airbrush or art suppliers. hobby shops and craft stores Cheers Wal
  4. A mix of methylated spirit's and a little white vinegar work's well Cheers Wal

    Deep 40mm Grinner

This is a little full wire constructon 40mm Diver I make that reaches 6m on the troll Cheers Wal
  11. I print my stencils onto overhead projector sheets then cut them with a stencil knife (swivelling blade). Cheers Wal
  12. Hydrochloric acid will turn stainless to shades of dark grey or black, It doesn't scrub off real easy either. There's probably a few other products that will too but I'm not game to spill them on the sink to find out lol Cheers Wal
  13. If you go down the Powder pigment road, Solid Solutions(Melbourne) or Barnes pattern supplies(Sydney and Brisbane?) are Australian companies that supply them for the Movie making special effects industry. They may be able to help out. Cheers Wal
  14. Interesting Thread, I take 1 or 2 rods depending on where I'm fishing, and usually less than 20 lures I wonder if the Buzzbait/Gator attraction work's with Croc's in Northern Australia??, they're not a lure type I've seen used much over here Cheers Wal
  15. Using a fume hood and a flex drive to keep the motor brushes remote from the paint fumes is probably a good idea if you have solvent based paints. I use a flex drive and a 2200rpm air tool for paint mixing Acrylic laquers and Epoxies. The fume hood is used with both Cheers Wal
