Hey all! First post here but I have been learning a lot from this website. Most questions have already been asked so I have not had the need to post. I looked for this one but couldn't find a related topic. So.. I started carving, molding and casting swim baits. I wanted to add fins to it but didn't want static fins. I saw on the forum that people suggested using rabbit/zonker strips for the fins. I watched some videos and like the action they had. So my question is, how do I need to put them on? I use Devcon 2 ton for my crankbaits and noticed that several use that for swimbaits as well. Also wanted to try the UV clear from alumilite. Should I clear the lure first then put on the fins? Only thing that makes since but didn't want to ruin a newly painted lure if I didn't have to. Just wanted some feedback from some of you experts out there as to how you do it. Thanks for any help!
