Well I can tell you as a service member who served 2 tours in Iraq and also a year in Korea on the DMZ that it was meant as a joke and without taking the time to do things such as in the picture you will lose your mind over there. If you are not out on mission you are sitting in a crouded tent or building just as if you are in prison.

So if it offended you I do apologize but you need to realize that humor is what gets most service members through there tours of duty. I know we did numerous things such as in the photo and sent them to our loved ones to show them that we are doing ok and still have a level head.
