One of my favorite times of the year in WI was 4H County Fair time and the fall harvest. We would feast on cold boch beer, fresh roasted corn, brats, and northern style baked beans. I've heard that back in the 50s and 60s, Wisconsin had almost 200 small brewerys, mostly with German origins.
Das schmeckt gut und kalt. Kann ich ein anderes Bier haben?
"That tastes good and cold. Can I have another beer?"
